A motorcycle accident in Houston claimed the life of one person on Monday, January 16. According to Houston deputies, the crash involved one Dominique Jones, who was riding a Suzuki motorcycle heading north along Homestead Road, near the 11800 block. Deputies claim that Jones was travelling at high speeds when she clipped the right side of a Chevrolet Silverado.

Investigators state that the Silverado was heading south on Homestead Road and was attempting to make a left into the 6000 block of Hermann Road, at which point Jones’ motorcycle slammed into the vehicle. Jones was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. It is unclear what the condition of the Silverado’s driver is, with investigators from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office still piecing together what happened.
